DIY Paint Chip Wedding Escort Cards

So this one’s about as DIY and budget friendly as it gets. Just go to your local hardware or paint store, pick out a bunch of paint chips within the range of your color palette (free), cut them up, and write everyone’s names on them. Done. :)

I saw one of the most beautiful things the other week.
There’s a creek that runs through the middle of our campus with a sandstone slab for a bridge. It had been raining, and it was pretty muddy.A couple walked down to it to cross, and when they got there, the girl paused for a second. Without hesitation, her boy picked her up and carried her across. When they were on the other side, far enough that the ground wasn’t wet anymore, he placed her gently back on the ground. They took each other’s hands and kept walking.
It was such a sincere, practical gesture of love, I nearly cried.
THAT is true love. Serving in every way.

(This isn’t a photo of them, or my photo. I can’t remember where it’s from, but I take no credit.)

The Love of God (old hymn)

felicit0us:

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
